Under the Hood of Leadership

Leaders become more effective when they understand how their underlying motives determine everything: their own behavior, the behavior of others, the composition of and dynamics in teams, the results of selection processes, and the alignment between who they are and their roles. In this ELP Leadership Dialogue, we explore with Henk Breukink how leaders are wired and how their drivers shape their impact. Henk Breukink is an executive coach, supervisory board member, and the author of Drijfveren & Gedrag. Wat motiveert jou echt? (2025). This recently published book is based on his often ‘life-changing’ work with nearly a thousand coachees - mostly senior leaders - over the past 25 years. After the introductory interview with Henk, participants will engage in Dialogue with more understanding about themselves and their context.
