Haskoning, an international engineering, design and consultancy company, is different from many other companies. The company is “steward-owned”, a corporate ownership structure that ensures self-governance and prioritizes the independence, long-term continuity and purpose of the company. It finds having a positive impact on people and the environment more important than maximizing its profits and consciously contributes to the UN SDGs. It is also partly employee-owned, lets its employees share in its profits, and has recently established the “Haskoning Innovation and Education Fund” with the objective to allocate 12.5% of its annual net result to research and education in the field of Climate Resilience & Water. With CEO Marije Hulshof, the first female CEO in Haskoning’s 144 year history, we will explore her leadership challenges in running the organization. After the introductory interview with Marije participants will engage in moderated Roundtable Dialogues.
