Reflections of a Serial CEO

How do leaders sustain a healthy and high-performance culture amid external volatility? That is the question adress by Wilf Blackburn in his book “Optimal Leadership. Reflections of a Serial CEO”(2025). Wilf has been the CEO of several companies in the life and health insurance industry, mainly in Asia, having lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, China and Philippines. In his view CEOs should be able to reconcile apparent opposites: humility and confidence, delegation and decisiveness, reliability and innovative capability. Wilf Blackburn will first be interviewed about his CEO experiences, followed by moderated breakouts in which participants will discuss their personal leadership.
